Matthew Barnello has over four years of real estate experience spanning acquisitions, lending, and asset management. Prior to joining Badlands, Matt was a Senior Associate at Nuveen, where he helped originate and close more than $550 million in C-PACE financing across six transactions. Before Nuveen, Matt worked as an Associate at The LCP Group, where he focused on hospitality acquisitions and structured credit opportunities. To date, Matt has been involved in real estate transactions totaling over $1 billion across all major asset classes.. 

Matt earned a B.S. in Hotel Administration from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration.
